wings + horns
Vancouver brand wings+horns was launched in 2004 when founder Craig Atkinson returned to Canada after spending seven years in Japan. The result is a line that has Japanese quality and detail, with a distinctly Canadian feel. Each piece is made unique through the use of custom fabrics and tailored for the perfect fit. Classic utilitarian styles are given contemporary twists to create timeless and luxurious designs.
Take a trip back to London in the late 1950's with wings+horns Fall/Winter 2013 collection, inspired by the modernist youth movement of that time and place. An exploration of Canada's English roots results in a collection of textured wools, tartans, and customized knits, perfect for those drizzly autumn days. This season's colourways of deep sea, oxblood, and camel add some depth to the patterns and textures throughout, and modern technical fabrics help to bring the collection from the 1950's to the present day.
