Chuck's Picks

Chuck's Picks

This week’s edition of Staff Picks is with our main man Chuck, the heaviest hitter at the store. Look out for him at the gym working out before or after his big meals at Linh Café!

Still by Hand – Cotton Blend Knit Jacket in Brown

Chuck: I chose this piece because of its great value, it’s like a luxe version of Uniqlo U haha. Great quality overall and it fits my broad shoulders. The soft hand feel of the fabric and the unique color are also reasons why this was my first pick.

OAMC - Regs Pants in Black Wool

Chuck: Great cropped pants that can go with everything, I really like the Zip pocket detail on the side as it makes it more casual. Although it’s a carryover style from OAMC, the wool fabric they chose this season is spectacular, light with a bit of stretch. It’s a great shape for guys who do lots of squats like me.

OAMC - Ian Wool Shirt in Navy

Chuck: Minimal design, easy to wear. Big shout out to Luke who also designs for Jil Sander with his wife Lucie. When I buy tops I tend to stay away from shirts that I would have to pull over my head, the hidden dual zipper detail is perfect – functional and yet luxurious and clean, the wool fabric is great as it’s not easily wrinkly compared to cotton oxfords. This is the new perfect date shirt.

Native Sons - McKowski Sunglasses

Chuck: Classic shape and color but most importantly it fits my circular shaped face. The craftsmanship is always top notch as it’s hand made in Japan. I’ve always been a fan of Sin from Neighborhood, although they’re no longer partners in this project but I can definitely still feel his soul and aesthetic in this frame.
