Comme des Garçons Homme Plus

Founded in 1984, Comme des Garçons Homme Plus was the first distillation line to branch out from the CDG umbrella label and continues to be led by prolific Japanese designer, Rei Kawakubo. The label’s modern reinterpretation of traditional menswear silhouettes have resulted in vibrant collections that challenge entrenched gender distinctions. Integrations of masculinity and femininity are deliberately expressed through fabric proportions, androgynous tailoring and couture-esque garment details. Still infused with Kawakubo’s playful spirit, Homme Plus continues to reshape the formal menswear blueprint season after season.
