RG x Clare Maglanoc
Clare Maglanoc, visual creative based here in Vancouver.
Intrinsically, I am driven by emotion, culture, and people in all aspects of my life, so it is important that I deliver work reflective of the realities around me. “No Justice, No Peace, No Racist Police” is a short yet powerful message that carries much truth about the broken justice system in America, but is just as prevalent in other parts of the world. I hope this graphic serves as a reminder to be vigilant within our communities and to take every course of action within our reach against all forms of racism.
All proceeds will to go to Black Lives Matter Vancouver.
Black Lives Matter Vancouver is local community of Black activists fighting against systemic racialized violence, who aim to bring awareness to the often-invisible plight of marginalized BIPOC communities everywhere. The Black Lives Matter Vancouver chapter is organized and developed on the ancestral and unceded land of Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations.
Shipping will begin July 6th, 2020.
Roden Gray Community is a shared platform of cultural connectivity. It is also a space of intersection for creative and disparate voices to come together in unified dialogue. Recent events have had us reflect on ways we could show our support. These curated, community-sourced releases are our first response to the ongoing issue of systemic racism. All purchases profits from these releases will go directly to artist chosen charities that further the greater Black Lives Matter movement.View Collection
