Kiko Kostadinov

Central Saint Martins graduate Kiko Kostadinov debuted his namesake label for the Spring/Summer 2016 season with an already refined graduate collection of modernist workwear silhouettes informed by a fascination with Fordist uniforms and functional detail. The Bulgarian designer has since continued to develop a stark visual narrative with somber tones, asymmetric styling, and integrated utilitarian accents.

Though his work departs from deeply specific references– books, films, artworks, objects; each runway is bridged by an ability to effortlessly fuse the intrinsically functional with the ornamental in a cohesive assembly of meticulously patterned garments.
