Professor.E

The often-shrouded disposition of Professor.E draws from the deconstructive efforts of founder Ken Rao’s ‘Re-Lab’ project which entailed the dismantling and reconstruction of a Chinese Tang Suit with Japanese Kendo fabric.

The Professor.E collective represents a combination of the perspectives of those involved. They reflect on the colonial conflicts and the exotic fantasies of the mainstream Western vision, and draw from the art styles, architecture, and scientific discoveries of the "Age of Discovery" (15th-17th) to form the brand’s artisanal garments of which are lovingly tailored, eccentrically cut, and complex in pattern with a focus on texture and nuance in shape.
