Acne Studios

Ambition to Create Novel Expressions, more well known as Acne Studios is a multi-disciplinary brand based in Stockholm presenting books, furniture, exhibitions, and most recognizably, clothes.

The read-to-wear empire was first introduced with a humble pair of red-stitched jeans that catered to the contemporary youth, those who desired “style without association.”

Founder and director Jonny Johansson has since continued to design garments for the initiated; re-invented wardrobe staples and avant-garde garments alike. Each season features an eclectic mix of textiles and juxtaposing archetypes in the form of deceptively wearable pieces.
